Jeffrey Tyner is the President of Tyner Energy, LP, a partnership formed in 2015 by Jeffrey and his brother Jonathan. Tyner Energy generates horizontal drilling prospects and acquires mineral rights and working interest across the Permian Basin. To date, the company has generated and sold leasehold positions with a cumulative value in excess of $20 million. The company owns mineral and royalty interest across 10 states, and non-operated working interest in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Jeffrey began his career in oil and gas as a field landman when he arrived in Midland in 2006. In 2009, Jeffrey and Jonathan founded Tyner Land Solutions, a brokerage providing land services across the Permian Basin. In 2014, the Tyners moved away from land services and began buying, selling, and investing in oil and gas assets. This transition was formalized in 2015 with the founding of Tyner Energy.
Jeffrey is a Certified Professional Landman, is a member of the AAPL and PBLA, and has served in various capacities in both of those organizations. He is currently most excited about serving on the Board of the Sunergos Initiative, a team whose vision is to connect American believers with opportunities to invest strategically in people and projects which bring the Gospel to the least reached people on earth.
Jeffrey’s life was transformed by a radical encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 15, and he is still amazed at the undeserved grace he continues to experience through the Gospel. One of Jeffrey's passions is to see the worship of Jesus expand globally to include people from every ethnic group and language on earth – a passion that has been developed by taking the Perspectives course and through travels in Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. He is also passionate about helping businesspeople embrace their strategic role as ambassadors of Jesus in the marketplace, both locally and globally. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Northern Arizona University. Jeffrey and his wife Jenni have been married for 15 years, have four children, and are members of Redeemer Church of Midland.
