Speaker: Chad Clark

Start Date: 15th Mar, 2016 11:30 am

Chad Clark is the president and founder of Fuel the Fire Ministries. He is a retired firefighter and currently an assistant vice president at Merrill Lynch, where he manages Biblically responsible portfolios. In 1992, Chad began his career with the Midland Fire Department, where he promoted up the ranks to battalion chief. When on duty, he was responsible for all emergency personnel at nine fire stations. In addition to day-to-day personnel management and leadership, he responded to all major fires and emergency medical incidents, where he assumed the role of incident commander. Prior to Chad's retirement in 2012, he spearheaded an initiative to launch a light vehicle response program that reduced overall emergency response times city wide by over thirty seconds and saves the City of Midland thousands of dollars annually. This program is currently being duplicated in other fire departments. Having become discouraged and burdened by the state of moral and ethical decline in America, Chad felt a burning desire to see revival and spiritual awakening in America. He believes the Biblical truth that an active relationship with Jesus is the only earthly and eternal hope for the individual and America. As Chad studied previous great awakenings, he noticed common threads of desperate prayer, a sincere desire for personal holiness, and a significant involvement of young people. He began to pursue his passion of fueling the fire for another great awakening by educating others about God's requirements for national restoration found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. This passion along with encouragement from clergy and lay leadership, led Chad to start Fuel the Fire Ministries. Fuel the Fire is not an event or program. It is a movement of revival of the Church and obedience to the great commission to "Go" share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Chad authored his first book, Be the Spark in 2015. He is currently working on a second book, which should be published in mid-2016. In addition to work and ministry, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. He is married to Tia, his wife of 23 years, and has two children, Cohen, age 18, and Celle, age 17.
