About the event
Curtis Eggemeyer is the Founder and Managing Partner of Optimus Capital, an Austin-based private investment firm. Optimus partners with and acquires founder-led manufacturing, distribution and industrial services businesses in Texas. Curtis grew up working on his family’s farm and ranch. That’s where he learned that business is built on hard work, stewardship and keeping your word.
He went on to build and exit three companies, including Lemi Shine, which grew into a national household brand and was acquired by a multinational strategic buyer. Today, Optimus works alongside management teams to protect the legacies founders have built and to lead their companies into the next chapter. That includes Encore Pipe & Construction, a Permian Basin pipeline contractor.
Curtis and his wife are raising three children. He is passionate about being an intentional father and chairs the board of Community Bible Study, a global nonprofit.
